Srividya graduated in Fine Arts from CAVA in Mysore and did her Masters from Karnataka Chitrakala Praishath. Over the years, she has acquired considerable skill in working with watercolour, a notoriously difficult medium to handle.
Her colourful works in pastel shades are a delightful to the viewer. Her work has an abstract quality to it, where the background wash technique that she uses brings the canvas alive very effectively, yet there is a strong emphasis on elements of design and aesthetics
