This painting centers on the Chakravyuha—a spiral evoking life’s patterns and challenges. A DNA strand winds through it, suggesting that these cycles are coded within us. Around the spiral, symbols unfold: flowers blooming with change, elephants carrying strength and memory, a koi swimming upward in persistence, and a red sun burning with focus and time’s pulse.
Drawn from the Mahabharata, where the Chakravyuha entrapped all who entered, the work reflects on entrapments within ourselves. To break free, Rajkumar suggests, is not an act of noise or force but of stillness. Silence sharpens sight, revealing the gaps in the spiral—where the closed circle opens into a path.
