Shivani Bansal is a self-taught artist. Her unique and original artwork is an extension of her musings, poems and other myriad experiences.
An optimist at heart, Shivani believes in portraying joy and positivity in each of her paintings. She draws inspiration from the beauty of everyday reality and her travels, to paint vivid colours, each emblematic of an emotion though almost always tinged with an undercover of gaiety.
She enjoys depicting the hidden beauty of her surroundings by using colours and hinting at forms. Her artworks, being a reflection of herself, are pieces of happiness, euphoria and filled with positivity. She aims to create paintings which are pieces of connections to our hopes, dreams or a fleeting feeling which is preserved as an eternal memory. However, her impressions are subtle and left to the imagination of the viewer. Shivani has exhibited her work in a group of exhibitions in Dubai along with a couple of exhibitions in Pune.
