Reba Mandal
Born on 29th Nov. 1985 in Malda District, West Bengal, India, Reba Mandal had her art education in Kolkata. Later on, she displayed her work using acrylic and Oil colors on canvas covering vivid themes in 6 solo Exhibitions at Mumbai - including Jehangir Art Gallery, Kolkata - Academy of Fine Arts, Chemould Art Gallery, Taj Bengal Hotel, Bangalore - Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath and Art Revolution Taipei, Taiwan and 25 group art exhibitions in many art galleries all over India and Art Auctions in Pune. She Participated 5th Times International Exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan. She presented her work in 6 National level art exhibitions and 9 National Art Camps and Workshops in India as well. She has been honoured with many prestigious awards like Gold Medal Awarded, National level from Agnipath, Special Award and Memento. Her work is in collection of several art connoisseurs / patrons in India and abroad. Now she is working as a freelance visual artist and lives in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, India. The recent innovative endeavours of Reba Mandal – a talented contemporary artist depict her ode to the omnipresent beauty of nature through its rhythm, Ganga Ghats - Banaras Ghats, seascapes and landscapes in an inimitable style. Her command over the medium and techniques has decorated each work with the desired visual aesthetic effects of glory.
